Top Salon nominated for Top Award

Heart 106 FM is the number one commercial station in the East Midlands attracting 320,000 weekly listeners. The Awards were launched this year in a bid to recognise the very best in the region's retail and leisure sectors.

There are nine lifestyle categories in the Awards and voting is done by the station's listeners.

Speaking about the nomination and Awards, Keith Hall Hairdressing Salon Manager Debbie McMenamin said "This is an amazing achievement, but what makes us so proud is that it is our clients who have voted us onto the shortlist.

"We have two more stages to go through - a visit by a mystery shopper and the final Judging by Beverly C. We are on tenterhooks from now until the Awards Event on February 7th next year !!"

News of the short listing comes in the same week that the 19 Salon Keith Hall Hairdressing Group won the UK's top title of Gold Star Salon Group. This is the first time in the 22 year history of the national awards that the tribute has come to a business in the East Midlands.

Over 120 Salons from across the country competed for the award which was presented to Keith Hall Hairdressing Directors Darren Messias and Tim Fee, at the Gold Star Awards Ceremony staged in London at the Dorchester Hotel.
